This manual is intended to help members of the public:
- understand what records Hauffi holds
- understand how to request access to records from Hauffi
- identify the Information Officer and contact details for access requests
- understand how Hauffi processes personal information in broad terms

3. Guide on How to Use PAIA
The Information Regulator publishes the PAIA guide and related forms on its official website.
4. Nature of Hauffi
Hauffi is a private digital platform that connects patients with healthcare practitioners for appointment booking and related services.
Its main activities include:
- account registration and profile management
- practitioner listing and discovery
- appointment booking and cancellation
- transactional notifications
- practitioner verification
- account deletion and privacy-rights handling
- billing-related processing through third-party providers

6. Records Automatically Available Without a Formal PAIA Request

7. How to Request Access to Records
Requests for access to records should be directed to the Information Officer using the relevant PAIA request form and sent to admin@hauffi.com.
Hauffi may require:
- sufficient detail to identify the record requested
- proof of identity where necessary
- proof of authority if a requester acts on behalf of another person
- applicable fees where permitted by law
8. Grounds for Refusal or Limitation
Access may be refused or limited where permitted by PAIA or other applicable law.
- another person's personal information would be disclosed unlawfully
- legal privilege applies
- commercial confidentiality applies
- security, fraud-prevention, or legal-retention concerns apply
- the request is otherwise restricted under PAIA
9. Processing of Personal Information
Hauffi processes personal information broadly for:
- account creation and account management
- service delivery and appointment coordination
- practitioner verification

- privacy-rights handling
- security, fraud prevention, and compliance

10. Privacy-Related Requests
Where a requester seeks access to, correction of, deletion of, or objection relating to their own personal information, Hauffi also handles those requests through admin@hauffi.com.
